This body of work draws inspiration from the subtle textures of handmade washi paper and the symmetry of orizome (fold and dye), blending Japanese aesthetics with Western traditions of romantic still life. Through layered collage, I seek to create a dialogue between two worlds — one rooted in simplicity, impermanence, and natural harmony, and the other in abundance, and the passage of time.
